Additional tests may be requested as needed by outside entities such as Fire Suppression System and Irrigation System contractors via our online form:

Flow Test Request Form

Those seeking tests results are asked to identify a Residual Hydrant (where the static pressure will be observed with the other hydrant(s) closed, and the residual pressure will be observed with the other hydrants flowing) and one or more flow hydrants (where water is expelled and the flow rate measured).

The National Fire Protection Association provides additional information on test procedures and. In general, the residual hydrant should be between the flowing hydrant and the nearby main considered the water source.

Results are typically provided within 10 business days. However, weather or other significant utility events can delay results.
